What Causes Red Colored Urine While Treating Bacterial Infection In The Gallbladder?

Hi,I recently found out I have a bacteria in my galblader they put me on antibiotics and omeprazole and pink bismuth but when I urinate I can see like a reddish color is scares me cause I don t now if is blood or what I usually don t urinate like that is this normal?

Hello,

Many drugs including antibiotics can cause red coloured or high coloured urine. It is due to the excretion of metabolic products through urine and it is not a matter of concern.
You can do urine routine to confirm the bleed color is not due to blood.
