General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Suggestive of allergic reactions to Lisinopril. Lisinopril is an angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor commonly prescribed to treat high blood pressure. Its common side effects include dry cough, angioedema (swelling the lips, eyes, and skin with redness) and low blood pressure. Based on the history you seem to have developed angioedema. Stop taking the drug and consult your doctor immediately for an effective alternate but a safer medicine to treat your high blood pressure.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
