Hello my two year old son has a red bumpy rash on his back it started on his bottom which made me think it was a diaper rash but now it is spreading all over his lower back and he has a spot on his shoulder any ideas on what it could be or how I can treat it?

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Your son's problem can be due to fungal infection like tinea corporis. If you send a picture of this then it will be more helpful in identifying. Examination with your GP is well appreciated to rule out this. If fungal infection and if you were my patient then i would recommend using ketoconazole lotion or miconazole cream for local application.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
