I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that there has been allergic reaction to the chemical used in the dye leading to red itchy bumps and there is a possibility that you have scratched any of them and it is leading to infection and pus filled abscesses due to infection..

I would suggest you to take a course of antibiotics like Augmentin and anti allergics like Fexofenadine [Allegra] and also apply lotions or ointments containing antibiotics and steroids over it..
In case if there is pain anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen can be taken..

In case if the bumps does not show improvement in a week consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated and he can do a proper clinical evaluation and advise you according to the diagnosis..
