What Causes Red Bumps And Rashes On The Legs?

I experience some strange skin lesions on my leg(s). They have a bluish-black center and a red infected looking outer border. They came up suddenly. No pain, no itching. They have lasted x 10-14 days. Someday they look faded by the end of the day, then they look red and angry again the next. 4 or 5 on my lower leg, Also lots of little red bumps on my legs, chigger bite like, yet no itching! Any idea?

Hi,

Understanding your concern. As per your query, you have symptoms of red bumps and rashes on the legs which seems to be due to dermatitis, dry skin, eczema, sweat dermatitis and due to constant contact with the allergen.

Need not to worry. It is important to wear loose comfortable clothes to avoid heat generation. You should maintain good personal hygiene. Use a powder to avoid sweat collection and apply calamine lotion at the sites of the lesion. If the condition doesn't get well then consult a dermatologist for proper examination. The doctor may prescribe antibiotics like clindamycin, oral antifungal or antibacterial depending upon the diagnosis.
