What Causes Red Bumps Along Inner Thighs And Across Stomach?

I have red little bumps that started along my inner thighs and seem to be spreading across my stomach and upward to my chest. They are also along my inner biceps and are spreading down my forearms and they sometimes itch. I suspect a bite but they are spreading in numbers over time, what do I have?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi User! Red little bumps may be caused due to allergy or an insect bite which may or may not spread. One may check the surroundings and may look for insects or bugs as some of them may be hidden in the beds or the beddings, however, some may also experience the symptoms due allergy which may due to some allergens in the living environment. If it is very severe and spreading very fast or is associated with fever one should ideally see the doctor and get examined. In case of allergy or insect bites one may find over the counter antihistamines useful like Levocetrizine 5mg once daily at bedtime or may also take twice if needed. Seeing the doctor before taking any medication is considered ideal.
