What Causes Red Blotches Along With Swelling In Toes And Ankles?

i had had surgery end of February with a broken arm/plate was put in right arm. Ever since I am having red blotches and severe swelling in toes and ankle - looks like a sprain or a severe bee sting. I have Rheumatoid Arthirits and have had since 96 but never like this? Should I ever worry but its getting tough to walk and I am an active female only 50.

Hi
i did review your concern.
i would advice you to get yourself evaluated. Plates these days are hypoallergenic and should not cause such reactions however they could be due to any other reason. I would advice you to visit a dermatologist and get the lesions evaluated first and then start appropriate treatment according to the diagnosis
I hope this helps
Wish you a healthy life ahead
