What Causes Red Blood Cells In Urine?

Hi , My 3 yr old daughter has been showing signs of a urine infection . The doctor tested her urine and it came back showing no sign of infection but it did show red bloods cells were found in her urine . The doctor said she wants to repeat the test in a week . What could this be ?

RBC in urine test suggests various things like trauma in the genitourinary tract, kidney stones etc. But, main thing to rule out is glomerulonephritis which is serious and is inflammation of kidney tubules.
