What Causes Red And Itchy Welts All Over The Body?
I have these red welts that have a tiny whitehead and itch pretty severely. They weep and seem to spread that way. However I am not sure. I have applied a prescription strength steroid which seemed to work but now have returned. they are on my knee, spread to my face. I talked to an allergist, but he wasn t sure and thought it could be some sort of contact dermatitis. Any thoughts.

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to allergic reaction to some thing you exposed. Taking antihistamines like cetrizine and a short course of corticosteroids like methyl prednisolone will be helpful to clear this. You can also apply calamine lotion locally.
