General & Family Physician 's  Response
welcome to hcm,
I really appreciate your concern,
The intense itching on the scalp is most probably due to use of hair colors have you used any?.
allergic reactions can arise any time despite the fact that there was no reaction to them before.
Anti-histaminic drug will help in controlling the itching.
However, if the itching does not come under control, you can consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment to look for any other cause of itching.
other causes may be like due to lice manifestations in that case it can spread to your whole family.
for this wash your hairs with shampoo try to maitain the proper hair hygiene.
Please let me know if you have any questions,
thanks.regards.
