What Causes Recurring Penile Rash Post Intercourse?

Ive been married 7 yrs to my wife and last week after sex I encountered a red rash on the tip of my Penis and when I took a shower the rash would burn from the water. I started using a anti fungal cream for jock itch. After a week it went away but it came back again after sex we were also using Personal Lubricant. Finally it went away with the cream. Can you tell me what happened and why I got this.

Hi,

Dermatological conditions are hard to discuss without seeing them. Herpes is a blister, it recurs but the skin comes off and I think you would have noticed. Yeast can do that. Warts probably can't come and go like that. Local irritation either from friction or reaction to a creme can do that.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
