What Causes Recurring Numbness In The Left Arm In The Mornings?

Hello - it s been a few weeks since I started to wake up with numbness in left arm (I do not sleep on it) and once I jump out of bed quite often my legs just quit on me having to hold on to something in order not to fall. I exercise almost daily, have a balanced diet but also drink regularly 2/3 of a bottle of wine a day. What could be the cause for this?
