Hello,

I can understand your condition. As no antifungal medication is working for you, it is possible that it is not a fungal infection and infection due to bacteria or an autoimmune skin disease such as psoriasis which has symptoms as you have described.

Have you ever been through swab test for the lesion? I would advise you to go for the swab test and culture from the lesion of any area so that evaluation can be done regarding the type of infection, organisms that are causing it and medicines that can work against it.

However, if this result does not let you reach any conclusion, you should go for blood test and FNAC/Biopsy for microscopic examination.

I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
