ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello,
If you have lot of phlegm then there could be nasal and sinus problem. The nasal discharge could cause ear problems, throat problems , headaches etc.
You need to consult an ENT specialist and get examined.
Then you need to take anti biotics, anti histaminics , decongestants and nasal sprays both normal saline and steroid nasal sprays.
What i suggest to my patients is to get done CT scan of nose and paranasal sinuses and get examined for the extent of disease. If surgery is required then get done the surgery.
In doubt do reply.
