What Causes Recurring Chest Infections And Leg Weakness?

Hi Have had repeated chest infections. Last 2 days temp 39.9 but getting lower. Shivers at start, flesh and bones sore. Back very sore and leg weakness but getting a little better. Green sputum and chest sore and crackly. Do you think it might be viral and if so is there any point annoying my doctor. Many thanks

General & Family Physician 's  Response
You seem to be suffering from a bacterial lower respiratory tract infection. You will definitely need to see a doctor and get prescriptions for antibiotics to clear the infection. Meanwhile you can try steam inhalation and humidifier to reduce the symptoms while waiting for your doctor's appointment. Good day and take care.
