What Causes Recurring Bubble Like Sensation With Echoing In Ear?
Hey there i have been having a bit of trouble with my ear i dont feel sick, but sinuses are abit congested. I have this full sensation on the inner part of my ear it feels like a bubble, it goes away and comes back every now and then and then some days i wont have it at all but its been happening to me today and its starting to bother me. When i have it while im drinking or talking i can hear everything echo in my head. I went to a gp today cause i thought it may have been an infection he said i didnt have one but also seemed quite clueless about the topic anyway. Are you able to tell me abit more about it or maybe what it could be?
The recurring bubble sensation with echos in the ear indicate possible alteration in the cochlear pressure through fluid homeostasis of the inner ear or disturbances at neuronal pathways conducting transmitted waves of sounds. In my clinic, I do recommend an audiometry evaluation with or without an MRI of the concerned region for further guidelines as per the clinical judgement via Rinnie and Weber tests.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
