What Causes Recurring Boils In The Groin?

I have a boil or something on my groin. My partner and I get them almost at the same times either in the groin area or on our bottoms. They are very painful. I put drawing ointment on it last night and earlier it popped but there is a deep black hole.. Should I see a doctor?

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello,

Presence of frequent boils indicates that there is a need to take care of your skin in better terms. Since both of you have similar problems I think there is need to keep better hygiene.

In case despite all the precautions you do not get adequate relief that it will be time to see a doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ashok Kumar, Psychiatrist
