Hi,

The most common causes of your symptom is infection from your partner during intercourse. Local hygiene problems like not cleaning the private parts regularly with water or immediately after sex. Diabetes or any such disease that causes lowered immunity and thus, causing recurrent infections. Problems with urinary tract like stones, stricture, incomplete curative treatment. Reduced water intake.

All these can be diagnosed by the following ways:
- Consult your gynecologist to see for any cervicitis or vaginitis
- Ultrasound of abdomen and pelvis particularly for genitourinary systems
- Tests of blood for CBC, sugar HbA1c, thyroid, kidney functions
- Urine tests for microscopy, culture and sensitivity

Second opinion of a Urologist if required for clinical evaluation and investigations as per the cause found. Proper medical management as per the report of culture and sensitivity of urine with an antibiotic. Proper gynecological care, local health of private parts and other management as per the opinion of a gynecologist. All these should your permanent relief and cure too.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
