What Causes Recurrent Yeast Infections?

I don t get these horribly ofteb, but I get yeast infections a few times a year. Each time there s usually mild burning and itching and very thin discharge with small white pieces of what I assume is the yeast . This time, there s an absurd amount of discharge that I actually decided to remove myself because it was not coming out on it s own. The discharge is white, odorless, and is the consistency of ricotta cheese. My inner labia and vulva are also suffering dearly, as any type of itchiness that happens causes all of that to swell to disgusting sizes, and this whole situation makes me feel very disgusting.... Please help...?

Hi, I think you are having some fungal as well as bacterial vaginal infection. Get a pelvic examination done by a gynecologist.. You may need some antibiotic like a combination of cefixime and ornidazole for 10 to 14 days and also antifungal drug like fluconazole. A vaginal pessary of antibiotic and antifungal drugs like Clingen forte for 7 nights. Also use some vaginal wash to maintain a normal ph. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Hope it helps.
