What Causes Recurrent Rashes On The Hands And Feet?

I have a recurring rash that comes up on the backs of my hands that I have no clue what could be the cause. It has happened maybe once or twice a week for the last two months. I have changed soaps, everything I use is hypoallergenic, latex free gloves at work. It is always on the backs on my hands but once it showed on the plans as well and this time it is also showing on my ankles and feet. I don t scratch it but the rash lasts almost a whole day before going away completely. The spots are slightly raised to the touch and vary between about 2 and 6 mm. What is going on?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It does looks more like a mild infection than allergy since there is no itching involved. But nonetheless, contact dermatitis could also present with very little itching sensation. I would suggest you visit the concerned doctor for further evaluation and review.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
