What Causes Recurrent Miscarriages?

Our daughter-in-law maypoaaibly be having a 2nd miscarriage right now. She had one last. December at about 8 - 10 weeks she is about 6 weeks 5 days today. They are on their way to the fertility specialist right. Now. What could be causing this early? She is almost 31 and our son is 30.

Hi welcome to HCM...

Following causes has to be searched for reccurent abortion ....
1.Chromosomal abnormality
2.Lupus
3.Diabetis
4.Thyroid problem
5.Infection etc....

So your detail history has to be taken along with physical examination ....

You might need investigation with USG, CBC , tsh and t4 estimation , random blood sugar estimation etc...

If still cause not found hormonal imbalance , abdominal trauma , uterine anomalies has to be searched for ....

According to cause treatment given ..
