What Causes Recurrent Miscarriages?

Hi I am just tired 41 years old, I been trying to have baby after three years of Merina implant. I took it off in 2011. since then I am trying in 2013 I was conceived but no feral heartbeat so miscarried at 7 weeks, again this year conceived something happened at 9 weeks miscarried. not sure why what is going one and giving up my indention to have baby due to my age also going up any suggestions will be good. Only before 2nd D&C found that my thyroxine is low. very confused. but just don t know what the effect two D&C would have caused on my ovulation as well.

There are many reason that can cause miscarriage.
The reason for miscarriage is varied, and most often the cause cannot be identified.
During the first trimester, the most common cause of miscarriage is chromosomal abnormality – meaning that something is not correct with the baby’s chromosomes.
But as you describe above your thyroxine level is low ,and this can be the reason of your miscarriages.
Have a consult with an endocrinologist than try to conceive.
