What Causes Recurrent Headache Despite Taking Ibuprofen?
My 16-year-old son may have swallowed lake water yesterday while tubing with friends. He is complaining of a bad headache, had 5 episodes of diarrhea yesterday (none today), queasy stomach. No vomiting or fever. 400 mg of ibuprofen have not helped the headache. Should he be seen or does this sound like something that will run its course? OK to take an anti-diarrheal med?
