Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Recurrent Gastritis And Abdominal Bloating?
I am being awakened almost nightly with gas and bloating, when I can pass gas and go to the bathroom it helps. I have been trying two kinds of magnesium oxide which helps elimination but not until after I take my psyllium husk in the morning. thank you for caring.
Your symptoms seem to be related to constipation which cause bloating in the abdomen. I suggest to use Simethicone medication to relieve the bloating. It is an over-the-counter medication and it can be used 3 times per day. I also suggest to continue that magnesium supplement and take a daily probiotic. I recommend to eat a favourite diet and drink a lot of liquids.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
