What Causes Recurrent Boils In The Groin Area?

Reacurring boil on groin...it gets big so during day cover it with a plaster to stop irritation.when i was it i dry and apply savlon cream till it burst then clean the puss up it goes down like its dissapearing then about 1 week or two later it comes back up again have to start proceedure again

The lesion is an abscess which is a localized collection of pus.

Though it burst, small pockets of pus would have remained which would then cause recollection to occur.

The best way to prevent this from recurring would be have the abscess incised and drained by your doctor.
This is a minor in office procedure but it would significantly reduce the chance of recollection.

In addition, you would likely need a course of antibiotics as well.
