What causes recurrent abdominal pain and backache?

Hi, I have Abdominal pains which have been recurring for a long time now (1 year +). I have been consulting and I was never told the actual problem . Now when I experience the abdominal pains, I also experience back pains and it feels like I am burning on my back. Could you please help me on what could be the cause? And how I can threat the condition?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

* There are many reasons for the abdomen pain with backache as ulcer, calculus in the urinary system, pancreas problems or others.
* I would like a follow up consultation with all details of pain as site, type, aggravating, relieving factors and other relevant information to guide further in details to proceed further.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi Doctor! Monday morning I woke up with bloating and stomach cramps that worsened through the day. By Afternoon, I had nausea and a fever of 100.7 with no worsening pain. Tuesday fever and nausea were gone, stomach pain reduced but still there. Went to urgent care thinking maybe appendicitis. PA found some rebound pain, but thought with no fever and lessening pain to take wait and see approach. Today pain is completely gone. At this point, am I safe to assume not appendicitis? Thanks!

My 6 year old son has been having recurring abdominal pain. We have taken him to his primary who did a CBC, allergy panels, another one to check the liver, stool sample (h pylori negative) and urine sample. I spoke to her and she said everything was normal and no problems found. His results become available online and his urinalysis showed abnormal. He has Amorphous Crystals (listed rare instead of negative), blood 1+ and ketones 1+. Is this something I should follow up on because his doctor won t usually contact me for follow up?
