Okay So, I Thought at first what was wrong with me was that i could have been pregnant, because i had passed a small amount of blood when i went to the bathroom, so I just assumed. Then today my stool was bloody a little bit, so im kind of worried. help?
Blood in the stool may be due to hemorrhoid or fissure or fistula. Constipation or sedentary lifestyle or alcohol or spicy food may aggravate the problem. Eat high fiber diet and regular exercise and yoga. Drink plenty of water. Use fiber like Metamucil or Benefiber to bulk the stool. Use syrup lactulose after dinner for five days. If symptoms not improved, please consult your surgeon he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
