What Causes Rectal Bleeding With Abdominal Pain?

Bleeding
I am scheduled to get knee surgery this friday, but I am concerned because I have had rectal bleeding for several months after I use the bathroom and it comes out as if I were having my period when im not but my stool is normal. And I had sharp abdominal pain yesterday the bleeding is bright red and actual droplets, im 17 so what could it be?

Bleeding per rectum could be due to Haemorrhoids ( piles ) , Some growth in your rectum or colon , Infection of colon . It needs to be evaluated and diagnosed else persistent bleeding will make you anaemic and weak .

I advise you to go for Colonoscopy which will detect what is wrong with your Colon . Kindly get it as soon as possible . Let me know what the report comes as .
