What Causes Rectal Bleeding While Treating Hemorrhoids?
After recent hip replacement surgery, I was constipated ,finally pooped,had some rectal bleeding from hemorrhoid . Now 4 weeks post surgery, I have the following symptoms.Often desire to urinate and or have a bowel movement though I do not in fact have a healthy solid movement

Lifestyle home remedies for treating hemorrhoids.
Eat high-fiber foods. Eat more fruits, vegetables. Doing so softens the stool and increases its bulk, which will help you avoid the straining . Add fiber to your diet slowly to avoid problems with gas.Aim for 25-30 gms of fibre daily. Sitz bath. Soak your anal area in plain warm water 10 to 15 minutes two to three times a day and after each bowel movement
Keep the anal area clean. shower daily to cleanse the skin around your anus gently with warm water. Avoid alcohol-based or perfumed wipes. Gently pat the area dry or use a hair dryer.dont use dry toilet paper .
Apply an over-the-counter hemorrhoid cream or suppository containing hydrocortisone, or use pads containing witch hazel or a numbing agent.
use pain killers for a short time to alleviate the pain
Increase fluid intake according to your body weight and level of activity.
exercise daily for atleast 30 minutes .
keep moving .You have to move for your bowels to move.
use ice packs if there is swelling around the anus.
with all tha above measures your symptoms should be relieved in one weeks time
Go to your doctor if you don't get relief in a week, or sooner if you have severe pain or bleeding.
