What Causes Reactive IgG During Pregnancy?

Recently we are blessed with baby boy (1 month by now) and we went for storage of stem cell - life cell They have done some tests and submitted reports in that all are non reactive expect CMV - IgG (Reactive) and CMV IgM (non reactive) I there any problem for mother and baby for life And we have contacted Life cell and asked the same they have informed that CMV - IgG (Reactive) is very common in pregnant women and 99% women will affect with this virus and they dont even know. Can i know what is CMV (IgG) and why it got reactive for my wife please. Thanks in Advance.

I can understand your concern.
CMV means Cyto Megalo Virus.
IgG and IgM are protective antibodies. IgG suggests past (old) infection. IgM suggests recent infection.
Your wife is having IgG positive means she might had CMV infection in the past. Her IgM is negative so no need to worry for recent or active infection.
So no need to worry for CMV IgG reactive.
