What Causes Rashes On The Legs?

My 20 year old daughter has had some unexplained round lesions that have popped up on the side of her foot, and now we re seeing some bruise-like spots on the front of her legs. No trauma that she can remember. We ve seen an urgent care center and they did a CBC, thyroid, and electrolyte panel and told us all came back within normal limits. She complains of leg pain with it. She is on Topamax, Lexapro, and Abilify for depression. She has an appointment with a dermatologist next week. Thoughts?

Hi,

It might be an allergic eruption or contact dermatitis.

As the first line of management, you can take antihistamines like Pheniramine for symptomatic relief.

Apply aloe vera lotion also.

If rashes persist, better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
