What Causes Rashes On The Finger Tips?
Hello. I woke up this morning with a rash on the top of three fingers on the same hand. The rash is a small area, bright red, very dry and flaky. It does not itch but rather fairly sore to the touch. I was wondering what type of OTC medicine would work best. I put Benadryl ointment on it and it stings. Thank you.

It depends upon the type of rash. Is it drug induced or infective or allergic or psoriatic etc.
Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.
Use moisturizer cream locally.
If symptoms not improved please consult your dermatologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
