What Causes Rashes On The Elbow Region And Neck?

I am having a problem with a rash developing in the elbow region and on my neck. It started after moving things from a shed in very hot weather in the latter part of July. While moving boxes I noticed there was a bag of fire ant killer and I noticed it had been thrown over the boxes. I have tried hydro cortizon, cortizon10 and several anti itch ointments. It itches like crazy! It has traveled from the elbow joint down my arms and now it s on my neck... Small little bite like areas have popped up and I clean them with peroxide and then triple anti biotic ointment to prevent infection... I m at a loss s to what it might be

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Based on your description, the rash may be combination of a reaction to the heat and an allergic reaction to some chemical or substance .

In addition to the topical treatments, you would need to consider the use of oral medication such as antihistamines.
If the oral antihistamines are not helpful then you may also need a short course of oral steroids.

I hope this helps
