Thank you, first of all, for taking my question. About 2-3 times a year for about the last 2-3 years, I ve been developing these rashes on the calf area. Sometimes 1 calf, sometimes developes into both calves. Starts in a small area, usually the the front or chin area. As the rash developes it may move to the sides of the calf, or not. Always very itchy. The type where you almost pass out if you itch it (and I try very hard to resist scratching or rubbing). As it goes through it s symtoms, usually always the same- skin surface red slightly swollen I have tiny bumps, that when scratched, break fairly easily. These do not weep fluid or anything clear- they bleed, Eventually, the area will turn an almost purple or bruised looking color, and if fact, feels bruised in that area. Eventually, the itching slowly subsides, swelling goes away, leaving only the bruised area, and small, tiny scabs. The whole process, not including the healing of the tiny scabs is about 2 weeks. the scabs taking about a month or more from beginning to end. I hope I ve explained, or described this to you well enough. And again, thank you.
