What Causes Rashes On The Body After Taking Prednisone?
I have developed a mystery rash, keeps returning after taking prednisone for 5 days now 16 days slowly tapering off, described as a contact allergic reaction. I have done all the normal things, remove soaps and scented creams, minimize products in use, baby detergent etc. Just shortly before this started( I think 2 months or so) I got a shingles vaccination, can getting shingles shot cause an allergic reaction? You have to see the dermatologist dear and he will examine the rash and maybe do a patch test, if it's allergy to rule out the cause . A recurrent rash can be both viral or allergic so making a presumptive diagnosis is difficult.
