What Causes Rashes On The Back Of The Hands And Arms While On Acitretin?

Hello I m taking Acitretin for about 3 weeks now and just 2 days ago I broke out with a rash on the back of my hands and arms. I have discontinued the medication as of Friday it is now Sunday and still have the rash. I am on and antibiotic also so I m not quite sure why this happen. I did get my teeth cleaned on Thursday and noticed the rash the next night. I called my doctor waiting to hear back. What do you think?

Acitretin may cause itching,skin peeling,rash,dry skin.
it can be due to antibiotic allergy also.
It's advisable to stop taking all your medicines and check out for the decrease in rashes.if you are allergic to that antibiotic you should not take it again in your life time.
