What Causes Rashes On Face And Body After Exposure To The Sun?

Dear docs, I am writting you regarding the following problem I have had for years. I am 29 year old female and most likely have a sun allergy. Every time I go for holidays to places such as Phillipines, Thailand etc. where is quite hot and humid I get rash on my face and body after 1 day of exposure to the sun. The thing is that I love sun and subathing hence I dont want to hide inside and cover my skin with clothes. Of course, I use sun lotion (30 or 50+) every time I go outside. I also avoid going outside between 11:00 - 16:00. What is interesting, when I sunbath not at sea I dont get the rash. I can spend the summer in midlle Europe and have no problem at all. Please help me to find a solution so I can enjoy the sun. Thank you very much in advance.

Dear
I have analysed your description. I have had several cases with a similar history. I presume that the rash that you get is slightly pinkish and of a very fine quality. I will explain to you why you get it in certain environments while sun exposure is there but not in some other locations. It is well known fact that the sand and water surfaces enhnaces the effect of ultraviolet rays of the sunlight by directing the sun rays on to your exposed parts. This precisely is seen in outdoor vacationers by the seaside but to a much lesser extent in other locations.
You might consider using sunscreen that completely blocks all kinds of UV rays like those containing Zinc Oxide and Titanium Oxide as the sole ingredients and apply the same after every two hours to get its full effect. This should solve your problem, if you must sunbathe by the seaside. Have a great time when you go vacationing next time
