What Causes Rashes On Chest And Face Along With Pain In Joints?

Have been trying to get diagnosis for following symptoms...starts with rash on chest face and neck and sweats...then joint pain and stiffness, sometimes all muscles spasm at same time from face to toes, sometimes I shake uncontrolled, pain is severe...then extreme fatigue like I am a heavy duty magnet attached to a metal bed...also have insomnia...with fatigue comes extreme dry mouth and weird taste, mild burning feeling in mouth even though I am fully hydrated...sometimes when walking my feet just like stop working...then I will have a few days where I feel totally normal...

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of rashes on chest and face along with pain in joints which caused skin condition is known as irritant dermatitis which occurs due to local irritation to the razor you have used. I would suggest you to apply mild corticosteroid like desonide and antibiotic like fusidic acid twice a day. You should take oral prednisolone as well. You should visit dermatologist once and get it examined. Start treatment after proper prescription. You should wash face and chest area with a gentle cleanser for face wash such as cetaphil cleansing lotion, twice daily. Apply cold compresses to reduce redness and itching .You should drink plenty of water. Avoid taking sharp and fried food. You should apply 1% pimecrolimus, 1% metronidazole gel.
