What Causes Rashes Near Underarms?

My son who is 5 has had a rash for 10 days now and it keeps getting worst, on the truck are and under arms, today on the eye lids, red different sizes and dry looking top to them, had him to dr and they said it was a virus thing, starting to worry getting worst after 10days

Hi

Since your son has been diagnosed with a viral rash ,I would like to tell you that viral rashes usually follow their own course and they may take some time to completely heal .
They can present with reddish itchy rash over the body but in most cases no treatment is required .
oral antihistamines can be given to relieve itching.
