What Causes Rashes In The Body?

had a rash on legs, back , spots on arms, & now face. Dr.s have given me triamcinolone acetonide. last dr called it dry skin. I ve been working in medical field for over 30 years, ER, stab rm, etc. A pharmacist said I should not be on this steroid for over a few weeks, It has been 16 years. I why can .05 not be used on the face?

Hi..

Well, first of all the cause of rash has to be ruled out whether it is allergic reaction, bug bites, poison ivy exposure or anything else causing the same..

So first of all you should consult an Allergist and get a thorough examination done along with investigations like Allergy test..

In case if it is due to allergy and causative factor is ruled out avoiding exposure to the same can help..

For allergy Immunotherapy can also help in reducing the severity of symptoms..
