What Causes Rash & Pimples Post Waxing?

I waxed my face and now have painful and a terrible rash of whiteheads and pimples all over, especially in my chin. I cleaned the area, applied hydrogen peroxide, tea tree oil, witch hazel, exfoliated with brown sugar and coconut oil, put coconut oil on it and also neosporin. Nothing has worked! Help?!

Hello. Thanks for writing to us at healthcaremagic

You seem to have a flare-up of inflammatory acne vulgaris.
If I was the treating doctor I would have asked you to use a topical antiacne gel e.g benzoyl peroxide, twice daily. It is antibacterial and antiinflammatory in action.
Oral antibiotics too would help in your case along with topical antiacne gel. Either Azithromycin Or Doxycycline would bring down the flare.
I would suggest that you visit a dermatologist in your region. Your dermatologist after proper assessment of the severity of your acne would prescribe accordingly.

Regards
