What Causes Rash On Feet Along With Swelling On Foot?
My son is 21. Within the past month he has had a swollen foot with no apparent injury. A rash comes and goes. Rash is now on both feet with swelling just on one foot. X-rays and ultrasound came back normal. He has had some blood work come back normal (doctor commented his white blood cells were 100 percent normal) which she said was rare. They took more bloodwork this past Friday to check for some auto immune disorders.
Swelling over the the middle of the foot could be infective (boil or abscess) or traumatic if there is history of any injury (hematoma) or cyst.
This kind of small swelling needs to get inspected for it's size and shape by the doctor and if required need to be palpated for its character and consistancy to make a diagnosis.
I might be able to understand and direct you better if you can send me a picture of the affected area. There is a feature to upload pictures on this site. You can use the feature to upload images.
However you can consult some local doctor or GP for immediate treatment. like analgesics and anti-inflammatory with serratiopeptidase to reduce swelling and pain.
