What Causes Rapid Heart Rate With Cough?

Hi, I am an 18 year old male, normal physique, and I have been experiencing strange symptoms unfamiliar to what I would associate with pneumonia. My heart periodically will start to race, I have the raspiness of coughing like pneumonia, and one night the left side of my throat felt like it was being pressed down on, following with a sharp pain in my left ear, could not get any rest. My Question is, what is causing all of this?

Hi,

Transient increase in heart rate is quite common and it can happen in conditions like fever and anxiety. Nothing much to worry and it will return to normal in a while. You can consult a GP and start on antibiotics for cough and pneumonia.

Hope I have answered your query.
