General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Insomnia is a common side effect of Buspirone hydrochloride (Buspar) and the same should be discussed with his doctor. The raised heart rate and chest pain are related to anxiety and meditations will help in this regard.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
