What Causes Radiating Pain In Tooth, Ear Canal And Neck?
I have severe pain at back of my lower right jaw - I feel like it is tooth ache but the pain radiates down my ear canal and to my neck . I went my dentist had two root canals and still no better - it usually comes and goes and is irritated by air conditioning but today it is severe to the point where I am in tears witht he pain even though I have taken Advil , hydrocodine and got no relief - I am desperate please help me
As per your complain pain in the lower right jaw that is radiating to Ear canal and neck seems to be most probably due to infected tooth however other causes can be impacted wisdom tooth causing pressure over adjacent molar or inflamed gum flap over the wisdom tooth.. It can also be due to nerve related problems like nerve compression or injury.. Consult an Oral Physician or Oral Surgeon and get an x ray done to rule out and eliminate different probabilities for the pain and will be treated accordingly.. As of now take higher painkillers like TRAMADOL.. You can also opt for painkiller injection to relieve pain..
Hope this helps..
Regards.
