What Causes Radiating Pain In Right Foot, Heel And Ankle?

I have pain in the top of my right foot that spreads to the heel and ankle. not all day, after a couple of hours putting weight on it will hurt more and more throughout the day, and the pain will go up my leg and stop at my knee by the end of the day. It gets pretty uncomfortable to put weight on it and the longer I put weight on that side it gets worse and worse. this has been going on for several months and has gotten progressively worse. Do I have a stress fracture or something going on in my foot that may need surgery?

if there is history of trauma it may hair line fracture..first take x ray..n give temporary pain relief such as diclofenac
