What Causes Radiating Pain From Shoulder To Arm?

Last 3 days I have been having pain in my upper left shoulder going down my arm. At first started out like I had slept wrong and my neck was stiff. Now it comes and goes down my arm esp when I drive. Like a dull ache that makes me want to put my arm in a sling. My wife took my blood pressure today it was 106/72

Hello,
I read your problem and want to ask a question about this.are vertigo,heaviness on head,vomiting sensation and tingling or numbness happened before there? actually it seems to me there is nerve compression over cervical spine or shoulder nerve.but anyways there are so many causes of shoulder pain radiates to arm like degenerative arthritis of cervical spine ,soft tissue injury on neck as muscle strain or sprain,nerve stretching or nerve compression,trauma or injury,frozen shoulder,dislocation or fracture of shoulder or neck bones.
but neck stiffness with sudden arm pain occurs due to bad posture with nerve compression.you can take hot fomentation and medicines as ibuprofen,acetaminophen to reduce the pain.
consult the ortho to rule out the exact cause of pain.get some investigation like X ray of shoulder or neck.
