What Causes Quivering Lower Lip?

My 9 month old son has always had a quivering bottom lip. His doctor said it was an immature nervous system and it should stop on its own. It had stopped for a few months, but about 2-3 months ago it started quivering again. Is it something to worry about?

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic.

It could be a symptom of low calcium in the system and it could also be a simple thing as you r doctor told and it is called Jitteriness. It is self limiting. Please do a serum total calcium and ionized calcium and get back.

Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.
