What Causes Purple Discoloration On Feet After An ORIF?

I had an ORIF of my 5th metatarsal 6 weeks ago. When I leave my foot down for just a few minutes the extremity becomes discolored (purplish). I have been Partial weight bearing for about 2 weeks and now I am trying to walk a few steps without a crutch. Should I be worried?

Beside getting discoloured do you have numbness or cold/hot sensation, just share withme.meanwhile you can have compression bandage on foot and keep on doing excercises and pain killer if required.
Take care
