What Causes Purple Colored Numb Thumb With Pain?
I was cleaning the pool skimmer, walked in the house, and my thumb felt a bit numb with a little pain (not very much) but is turning purple. Spider bite? I didn t see anything but could have been hidden by the leaves. I ve been watching it, and it s not getting worse so far. Any idea what this could be?

The possibility of spider bite cannot be ruled out. Working in extremely cold water can also cause symptoms like this. I think you should visit an ER of a hospital and get attended.
